A heart shaped face (wider forehead and cheekbones, narrow jaw line) is best suited for tear-drop and chandelier style earrings that broaden the chin.
Square shaped faces (forehead, jaw and cheekbones nearly equal) look great wearing hoops and curvy earrings that add length to the face.
Oval shaped faces (sloping inward equally from the cheekbone to the forehead and downward to the chin) is the shape where almost anything goes. Studs and dangling earrings both are wonderful choices.
Round faces (as wide as it is long) look stunning with dangling earrings that elongate the face drawing the eye downward.
A Rectangular face (longer than it is wide) is complimented by thicker earrings that add width to the face, as well as circular shapes.
